MEET CHRIS
Chris Roberts brings 16 years of experience in elected office and a lifelong commitment to public service. As a two-term Mayor and four-term Shoreline City Councilmember, Chris has built a career rooted in collaboration, transparency, and results.
A proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, Chris has led efforts to lift up Indigenous voices in policy co-founding the Local Indigenous Leaders Circle at the National League of Cities. He currently serves on the NLC Executive Board and chairs the Public Issues Committee for the Sound Cities Association, where he works closely with leaders from across King County to address housing, infrastructure, and environmental priorities.
Chris is running for King County Assessor to ensure property assessments are accurate, transparent, and grounded in public trust. With over a decade of public service, Chris understands how local policy affects real people. He’s committed to making the Assessor’s Office more accessible, consistent, and responsive to the needs of King County.
